Is it just me, or are the Graphics in POP1 better than POP2

I have been playing both of the games recently again. POP1 was my ultimate childhood game. Smooth movement, great colors (for mac version).

Is it just me, or are the graphics better in Prince of Persia 1 than in Prince of Persia 2, the Shadow and the Flame?

Maybe I have a bad version of POP2, but it just doesn't seem right.

They feel more grainy.

Anyone else notice this?

Monochrome forced artists/developers to keep things simpler. Color encouraged them to try to do too much. I have a Classic II just for messing with monochrome software, since I often prefer it!
