I made my first true upload to the Macintosh Garden, KidsMath.

Thanks, its always a good idea to share some files. The icon seems to be all right, but when I try to start, the game asks for the file "KM Students" - the only thing to do is clicking OK, and thats all.
I deliberately left off KM Students because it had names of my family on it, but I deleted it because I thought it would make a new file.

Yeah, that did it. The sounds indeed only seem to work with MiniVMac and I could not make it run with SSW 7.
Missing sound is not uncommon with such old games, Apple changed Sound Manager and sound chips a couple of times and thus cut off the oldies. Emulators might create some additional problems too. I guess, a MacII would be the one for your game.
BasiliskII OS8 seems to be all right for working color.

The main upload though doesn't include the KM Students file, though, it needs to be patched.
If you're worried about icons not appearing after unstuffing an archive, usually all that means is that the desktop needs to be rebuilt for the icon to show up. I often avoid this altogether by wrapping software in disk images and stuffing the image.
