It goes without saying that Microsoft Word is a historically important application.
Yet I am unaware of a copy of version 1.x for Mac online.

We're quickly approaching 28-years-old on MS Word 1 for Mac, and any still-imageable original media out there won't last much longer. I've got an original backup disk that was my father's, but it's corrupt. I've seen two disk on Ebay, one an original backup disk like my own that was pulled before it sold, and another a user-made copy offered with a high-priced hardware lot.

I think it would be a good thing for all of us to be on the lookout for a copy.
Not to be doomsdayish, but time may be running out.
