Loading extensions with their name at the bottom

Hi everyone!

Some time ago in a youtube video (can't find it right now but it's somewhere, damn youtube recommendations) someone was filming his mac starting up, and i noticed something curious, the extensions loading at startup had their names at the bottom. I totally forgot about this until today, in this ebay auction. There it is, in the photos, i have no idea if this is a feature in OS9 or if it is a special extension, but it is intriguing. Anyone knows how to enable this? I made the switch from OS8.6 to OSX directly, in the old days. It may seem a dumb question but hey, better than a dumb not asking it Wink

I think that this is enabled if you install "Conflict Catcher" see pic on this page. There could be other 3rd party utilities that do the same.

Yes, I see the Conflict Catcher icon loaded in the bottom left corner of both screens (auction & here) so this is whats doing this.

I've never used it either.

I use an extension called "!Symbionts" (without the quotation marks) to do this. It comes with a control panel that provides some flexibility on what the extension does.

I don't recall where I found it but it was recently (within the last year). The Readme file says it was sold as Shareware via Kagi. But my copy was free.
