I have a bunch of sounds in resource files (snd resources) and I need to convert them to wav or mp3. Is there a 68k or PPC utility that can do this?

I've often used Soundapp to convert them:

iTunes. I used it to convert all my system beeps and game sounds / hypercard stack sounds.
Thanks, IIGS_User. Sound App did exactly what I needed.
bertyboy, I couldn't find a version of iTunes for OS 8.6. Of course, I guess I could have mentioned that in my original post...
Called "iTunes Mac OS 8", a real code bloat at 440KB !! If it's definitely not available from the Apple site, I could upload it here.
=== checking apple site ===
iTunes v1.1 is here.
All you need then is the 440KB patch to let that be installed on OS8.6. I'll encode it and upload it.
Checked my MacFormat disk image library ... I have v1.1.3 of the patch, which covers many language versions of iTunes v1.1. I'll ".bin" it and upload.
Darn,
It's already on this site, under iTunes v1.1.
That's the version I tried! I feel kinda stupid. I even read that I would need to use the patch, but forgot when I tried to install it.
Oh well, it really doesn't matter now. I just need a simple converter and iTunes is much more.
