Looking for Super Disk software

Got a Imation Super Disk many years ago second hand for my iMac Bondi blue.
Browsing the net, I found this:

Included in the box with the SuperDisk Drive is a 120 MB SuperDisk, a translucent USB cable, an AC/DC power converter & cord, and a CD with the applicable USB drivers. There is a PDF manual included on the CD, but you probably won't need to view it as the CD sleeve has eight little pictures that describe how to connect the drive to your iMac.

I wonder whether anyone kept such a CD and would care to upload?

There also seemed to be a data encryption tool for LS-120 disks:

The second advantage is that SuperDisks are capable of data encryption!  In order to accomplish this, you would have to buy specially marked SuperDisk media, and install a small application onto each computer that you wanted to have access to the encrypted data.  While any SuperDisk can be used to store encrypted data, only the specially marked disks came with the necessary software to accomplish it.

I never saw this software, but would like to try if it should still work with Rosetta.

From what I could find, the encryption software required Win95. There's no mention of Mac support for that particular feature.

You can find some driver downloads on the Japanese Imation site but apparently they're not required for OS 9 (and presumably OS X).

Hi all, new here.

I have the CD, it is just 6.5MB (version 1.31 C) - I also bought the SuperDisk for my G3 B&W - Wink
How does this site work? Should I do an image on Mac OS 9 and upload it somewhere?

Thanks for caring comrades!

@Protocol 7: Yes, no drivers were needed on Macs, plug and play.

@theycalleditmac: Depends on what you have. Is it a mixed mode CD for Mac and PC?
A disk image done with DiskCopy6 should be fine for Mac CDs.
Compress the file you got. Best use Stuffit.
At last select "add app" from the top of this site and fill in what you have or know. Smile
Files up to 40MB are available for public download here.

Hello again!

It is just the Mac CD, it has the driver installer in several languages and manuals.

I am running Mac OS 9 on a G4 MDD (natively) and DiskImage 6 gave me errors. So I did a Toast image and used MacZip to compress it.

Thank you, theycalleditmac...
Nicely done.

PS: OS X zip is OK for Toast images too.

Thanks for sharing, feels like reading a lost letter after ages!

Any thoughts about head cleaning after 40 hours?
I have to admit, I never cleaned heads. Not even those of regular floppies.
