Looking for working Power Mac G5 motherboard.

My original 2003 Dual-G5 Power Mac board did not want to work again.

I have seen on many sites/forums how after a RAM upgrade, some motherboards never work again. The 2004 mobos had a 33% failure rate. That is one in THREE!!

I believe (without any way of knowing) that I have either a Dual 1.8GHz or dual 2.0GHz. If you know about these things, you can check the original DP release specs.

For a start, the heatsink covers are two separate covers (not the single unit).

I can cover postage, but that's about it. Use my email link to contact me if you can help.

Cheers.

PS. I also think the Apple Sata HDD managed to break my USB-SATA adaptor. There is a strange permanently jumpered pin on the rear. Dunno what it does. Anyway... the adaptor is broken now Sad

devils advisor's offer was a no-go due to power-supply requirements.

Does no-one have an old Dual-G5 mobo?
