Mac OS 7.5.3 Emulation Software Set

Here:
http://osvirtual.net/en/macos-7-5-3withsoft/
I have found an interesting link: 500 MB software emulation set for Mac OS 7.5.3. I have not yet checked the contents so I can't say whether there is anything new. It is 7z archived.

It was loaded with applications such as Adobe Photoshop 1.0, Adobe Illustrator 3.0, Microsoft Word 3.0 & 4.0, Claris Works, MacDraw, Freehand 3.1, QuarkXpress 2.1, and Cubase 2.5. More inside if you take a look.

This one is for SheepShaver, it has Mac OS 9.0.4 with Acrobat Reader 5.0.5, Netscape Navigator 7.02, AppleWorks 5.0.3, Toast Titanium 5.0.1, iTunes 2.0.4, StuffIt Deluxe 7.0.3, Graphic Converter 5.9.5, Transmit 1.7 FTP, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.5.

@sheepmyshaver123: What about the original osvirtual net links? Can't you get those from there?

Anyway, I can put the 7.5.3 one (.sit) up on Rapidshare if you can DL from there. BTW. It doesn't appear to be bootable. I tried it on Basilisk and Sheepshaver... Didn't attempt it on Mini vMac. I DL'd from 24bit's link.

I'll try "blessing" the System Folder.

[Edit] Yes, (for me) System folder required "blessing" before it would boot in Basilisk II. Got to meet "Marsupilami" once it booted Wink Has "spinning" Apple Menu and "Follow the cursor Eyes" in menu, on 1st look.

Can re-package and upload if you want it. In any format required... zip, iso, sit, etc.

I will try them again. Also, osvirtual has the Rapidshare links too.

Hm, weird you could not boot the image with BII, Mike. SheepShaver can not boot with it, however.
The system lacks some files for BasiliskII of course. I couln´t find a Monitors control panel for example, but you would hardly need one with MiniVMac. Smile

Oops, cross posts at same time. For BII I needed to "bless" the System folder, after that it was OK. I think this was originally intended for 68000 cpu (Mini vMac) to begin with. Boots OK on BII after "blessing". Thanks for your uploads, too.

[Edit] I first needed to mount the 7.5.3 image as a secondary drive in order to "bless" it, before I could boot from it. i.e; I needed an already working BII to do this, before I could use this disk image as a primary boot disk in BII.
