Macintosh SE/30

Hiya!,

I own a Macintosh SE/30 and I like to play the games that you have in your website. But most games I can not open with Stuffit.

I read in another post that was because these games are prepared to play them with an emulator and not on older computers.

Can I have some games with self-mounting images? The same style of Sim Ant, Lemmings, Ancient Art of War, ... I like the old game of strategy or simulation.
What can do to make that the games of your website works on my old Mac SE/30?

Thank you for your attention and congratulations for your great archive of games.

Are they .sit files? You may need a newer version of Stuffit, namely Stuffit 5. If Stiuffit 5 won't open you're stuck (if they're .sit).

Otherwise, pick up a copy of Disk Copy 6.3.3 from http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates... and use that to mount the images. It should be able to handle .dsk and .hfv images too, but I haven't tested it.

If you'll be imaging floppy disks though, please always use DiskCopy 4.2 for that. It's also available from Apple.

Hope this helps.

Hi there again,

Thanks for your advice. I appreciate your attention...

I will try with Stuffit 5 tonight and I'll post the results on the forum tomorrow. It may help to other users of older Macs.

Thanks again
