Unfortunately, the ad mentions DVDs... uurgh, not much help to retro Mac owners...

Depends on the retro Mac. Some of the older Macs from the later rev B or C beige G3's & powerbooks onward shipped with CD burner/DVD reader - perhaps as an optional (expensive) addition at purchase time.
The "negotiable" non-price is probably more of an issue with this ad.
Don't think bootable OS9.2 and 10.1 ever came on DVD. Restore DVDs weren't used until well into OSX 10.2. Retail OS discs weren;t DVD until 10.4.
If there are DVDs this could be a real collection, and bargain.
The 10.1 bit could be a typo. There's no photo's of the disks FS to go by either. Tho' the ad does say "Operating system CD's & DVD's".
@MTT -- Yeah, I thought the same thing myself. It is probably 10.3 (sounds like retail discs too).
