I keep trying to download the Quake iso with music, but it keeps failing on me, does anyone know why? I couldn't even download from the game's page, I had to go in to the FTP to find it.

@bombman: I didn't have any problem DL'ng the zipped bin/cue file from that ftp link on the Quake page.
I uploaded what I got to the main Quake 1 page which you can access, if ftp is still giving you grief (2nd DL in page).
Thanks but I already gave up and purchased the used disc haha.
Yeah unfortunately some people will have problem downloading from me, which I guess is just because the internet isn't optimized for residential -> residential connections (and my server is home hosted)
There is also a bug that some people seem to experience where the ftp software jumps from one directory being the root to another (it's the same folder, but sometimes it jumps from displaying the folders contents at the root of the share (what it should be doing) and showing the folder it's self at the root (which it shouldn't be doing))
I uploaded a few files (Price of Persia Cheats and Level Editor). I also sent a text file with the info for an account. How do we know if an account has been established? Do you send us our log in credentials?
Hey, I'v created your account now
I have been a little busy lately and hadn't checked on the account requests for a while.
If people leave a email address in their account requests I will email them once it is set up
Or if i'm taking a while feel free to contact me and bug me about it
(either on here, on wired, or email me at adm...@max1zzz.co.uk)
Thank you. I will look in my email for log in credentials!
Didn't notice you had left a email for me in your account request, my bad
Anyhow, I have replied to the email you sent me
Thanks for the uploads, sorry for being so slow in activating your account
Ok, temptation got the better of me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131410871869
I should be able to just drop the drive from the pro into it so there shouldn't be much of a transition time. (Just need to find out if the xserve is EFI32 or EFI64, since the current pro uses a modified bootloader to boot mavericks on a EFI32 mac)
Server is down for a little while while i reorganize the rack (new xserve and UPS are being installed), I thought it would be a simple job, until it turned out that the rails that came with the server where not the full depth ones so i had to move the posts closer together
The new xserve won't be up and running for a week or two, it's got a fancy raid card which i need to figure out how it works
and i have a week free in a couple of weeks
Ok, everything is migrated to the new xserve which is currently sitting on my desk for bench testing (The server should be working as normal just as soon as everyone's DNS records update to my new ip)
It will go down again in a hour or two when I take it down and install it in the rack, but that should only be for a few minutes
