My crystal ball told me about iOS and Mac OS X...

So, currently we have Mac OS X 10.8 and iOS 6.

At the time iOS becomes version 9, most likely both these operating systems will be merged into one version, runnable on both the Macintosh hardware and iThingies as well.

Do you see the point? Mac OS X 10.9 probably will not be published, but merged into.

If I remember right, when Mac OS X has been announced back in the days, the CEO told us, Mac OS X is *the* operating system for the next 15 years, and we'll reach the end of this time soon...

Hoping that iOS 9 is able to run Mac OS X (Intel) software, at least for a while. Wink
