use this program: http://www.mediafire.com/?dvjaar4cd9ud17i go connection -> connect use classic-mac.dyndns-ip.com:5900 as the address and your login / password (the mr account does not exist on the wired server, guests please leave user / pass fields blank) the server can also be found on the trackers list but it will log you on as a guest

FTP is better than the Wired one because Wired is only for Mac OS X users but I've running Windows. None all of the Windows clients of Wired are active at all, example the Qwired project is dead, some revisions may work them (r404 can login but the files may corrupt while resuming the downloads and r470 cannot login and will be keep guest forever (resulting "Login Failed. Username and password were not accepted by the server." each time with correct login details filled except guest, and without filling the username and password field) with but properly resuming the downloads and uploads).

im just looking for qwired r404, i can do ftp again BUT i need people to get accounts from me first (due to some security issues that arise between ftp and wired if people want i can do that (also i will need people who want ftp access to upload within 2 hours of first login)

Unless it's one of the Preview Releases or the PPC version of R3 it will work on x86. From R3.1 onwards, BeOS was intel-compatible.

I have some international 7.1 installers (arabic, french, spanish etc) want me to upload those?

yeah i would like that Smile
do you have good copies of os 1 and 2? as i know the copies on my srv are corrupt

Edit: just a little rant, can people please make sure there clients are set to only allow 2 downloads / uploads at a time as i am seeing people with over 20 logins!!!! and with servers over 3 protocols and all our home stuff it is stretching our internet connection, in short people with more than 2 dl's / ul's will get a 1 hour ban, if after that it is repeated it will extent to a 24h ban then a permeant ban (rules are the same on all protocols btw)

Just for interest: The wired client you provide on mediafire is twice as large as the client provided by the developer, although it's the same version 1.3.4.

What is the difference between those two?

the one linked here is a different build, slightly newer and sorts out some bugs but creates some more, the one from zankasoftware.com is probably better (the one linked here is one i found when zankasoftware.com was down)
anyway thanks UFK Smile

With grate regret I am probably going to shut this server down (over both wired and ftp protocols) next sunday, this is due to meny reasons such as: little activity, bandwidth problems and a need for hdd space elsewhere, i may keep the wired server up as a chat server, the ftp server will almost certainly go. if anyone is interested in a particular section i can sit it and upload it to mediafire (if there is enough interest i may sit it all and upload it to mediafire)

Sorry about this but i just can't keep the server up right now

Mediafire is the way to go. With a click of "save to my account" I can have it archived in my own free account, available for download whenever I am ready to deal with it. This is why the Old Mac Archive is on Mediafire. http://sites.google.com/site/oldmacarchive/

You would like me to sit + ul all of it?

I'm not sure what you have; I've never been able to see the contents of your archive. I would simply suggest you do whatever is easiest for you, and try to upload things that are not already easily available.
