Mystery Island II ver. 1.0 came out as shareware in 2001. Although there is modern version (1.9.5) here that will run under OS X 10.6, the first version 1.0 requires at least Mac OS 8.0 and is not compatible with OS X. This early version is what I am looking for, but I cannot find it apart from a demo that is on MacAddict Disc 59. Wayback Machine did not turn up anything. Anyone got a full copy of ver. 1.0?
