I have two vintage Mac games that aren't in the Garden yet, Alien Arcade and Swamp Gas Visits the USA. Both appear to be abandonware, at least in their Mac incarnations.
However, they're both on 800k floppy and I can't find anyone with access to a machine that can read them. Is there someone here that might assist me? (Hopefully someone prominent on here... you can understand that I'm mildly freaked out about losing them before I can back them up.)
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If you are in Los Angeles, just go to any Goodwill Store and buy one of the Older Macs...
I used to live in Orange County and Bought a few old Macintosh Classic and LC's
for as low as $5 Dollars, yes $5 dollrs! ($15 dollars at most for the LC's)
(too bad I can't find older Mac's here in Mexico)
anyway, that's alot cheaper than sending them by mail and also you get a Real Mac
just remember to bring with you a test floppy
My advice would be to look for a Beige G3 Mac.
It'll have a built in floppy drive that can read 800k disks, built in EtherNet, an IDE hard drive and PCI slots, so you can add a cheap USB and/or FireWire card (all useful for making the transition from floppies to disk images).
