Original Starcraft CD

Hi peeps. Kust wanted to ask someone a favor. I don't wan't anyone to upload Starcraft to MG, since I know it infringes on blizzards rights. I had the original CD a while back, but since them I lost it, but still have the serial key. Maybe someone still has the original Hybrid Mac/PC Version and can contact me personally?

I've tried countless other Starcraft CD floating around in the pirate seas, but for some reason they just don't get recognized as being legit, when launching Starcraft. Maybe I'm burning it the wrong way? I just drag and drop the DMG or the ISO file in to the "Image file" section in Toast and burn it.

I had a similiar issue with a Virtual Programming game that I had bought a few years ago. The disc had become unreadable. After explaining the situation to their support and submitting my product key they were so kind to allow me access to a digital copy of the game. You may want to try your luck and contact the Blizzard support.

I would be hitting the PC games stores, and 2nd hand PC games stores looking for StarCraft for PC. Almost certainly it'll be for Mac too. 2nd hand should be no more than $2. I got mine in the UK for under $1.

I used to hit the 2nd hand PC games stores all the time back in the UK, but more and more it was becoming XBox and PS3 and DVD-Video. You could always find some obscure Pc/Mac hybrid ganes there, all of which are uploaded here.

OK, sounds good, but my only option is eBay for those kinds of things since I live in Latvia - we don't have ANY 2nd hand game stores. The only stores that we have sell random crap games from Russia or just the newest releases. I've been looking for the SC CD for a while back but gave up. Anyway I found an ISO of the original disk and it works! so I'm set

If I clone an ISO of an Starcraft disk, does it works?

I'm pretty sure that you can find it on TPB or somewhere else.

Blizzard still sells the game and it will work on Mac OSX http://us.blizzard.com/store/details.xml?id=110000124
