I currently use Airport Extreme router(old model) with firmware v5.7 and configured it with WEP 128 key. However, WEP is easy to hack. Is there a tweak that allows 2002 iMac G4(Mac OS 9.2.2) with original Airport card connect through Wi-Fi with router configured with WPA or WPA2? I cannot use Ethernet, cause only LAN port in my router is occupied by cable, which is connected to my PC.

To the best of my knowledge - no there isn't. WPA drivers have always been on the wishlist of us OS9 users. The only thing i could think of is using MAC filter, but that's not really secure either.

Well check what wireless networks you can pick up in your area. If you find one or more unencrypted networks then anyone who wishes to try to listen in will attach to the other networks first.
They'll also need to spend the 15 minutes or so listening to your network traffic (40,000 packets need to be captured for a 50% chancee of obtaining the key, 85,000 packets gives a 95% chance) which would allow them to identify one of the two keys to understand what you're sending over wireless, I remember it being called the Beck-Tews attack.
And then, do you really care if they listen in to you doing whatever you do, then you can really stump them by using HTTPS, SFTP, etc.
Like already said, I don't think WPA is available on OS9, but it may be available on OSX with the same card. Or if you're really concerned buy yourself a Wireless Repeater, Netgear have cheap options, AirPort Express also works (but only connecting to AirPort kit).

So there isn't any unofficial WPA driver for OS9. I never used MAC filtering myself, but I remember when I was in friend's house, we needed a lot of time searching for MAC address(I've never looked for it before) on my Windows notebook, then looking for router password(to dashboard) and then searching again for "MAC Configuration" tab in complex interface. One of problems with MAC is that in "unusual" devices which use WiFi there may be problem finding it. I think the best solution is WPS button, but Airport routers doesn't have this sometimes irritating, yet useful function.
I have Sapido router which can connect to another WiFi network in it's browser dashboard. I'll try, it may work. I also think about buying WiFi extension for my PC, it's little odd, but I could use LAN port to connect my iMac directly.
