Parallel-SCSI with Snow Leo?

I still have a couple of old Classic Mac SCSI decices and PCI SCSI host adapters as well.
Did anybody manage to connect his old devices to a Intel Mac?
There is a Parallel-SCSI pane in the info area, so I suppose it could be done.
Drivers or kexts are going to be a big problem of course.

I believe there are only two or three adaptors supported, and you will find them in Snow Leo Server edition kexts. You should be able to glean the device IDs from the kext, and then check online -- probably is used in Xserve, and X-Series 5 IBM server.

Thanks! I did not think of the Server kexts. I'll check for those soon.
Done.
A kext seems to be there for a AEC6712 and some ATTO extensions too.
Maybe I can grab a AEC6712 somewhere.

Watch out for old Dell, HP, IBM, Apple servers that have been dumped -- be like me -- always carry a philips-head screwdriver with you!

PS. The AEC6712 is in the IBM 5-series Xserver, but may be integrated (ie: not a PCI card).

Do you think this one might work? They are offering for WINDOS only.

I do have a srewdriver with me im my car, since I had my BMW E5. Smile
Never needed it for the car, but there was a handy little toolbox in the trunk.
Some manufacturers used nasty TORX-like fittings, Compaq maybe?
