[Photos] Dissasembly of an AirPort Card.

Hello everyone.

Recently I wanted to see why my AirPort card doesn't work in my iBook G3, always is giving me -3278 error. Because no one uploaded in the net how it looks an AirPort card dissasembled, I took some photos of them and uploaded it to Picasa.

Hope I can fix it.

How can I downgrade? That's the question.
I don't know what to do. In Chile, getting another AirPort card costs US$40. Too expensive. TT.TT

What about a small Wireless repeater ? Usually designed for TV set-top boxes togive them wireless connectivity to your internet.
I've used a Netgear WNCE2001. About the size of a credit card, connects by Ethernet, powered by mains or by USB (cables included). You iBook just sees it as an Ethernet connection, no drivers needed. Configure via browser. It may be a little more money, but it's super fast. They may be cheap 2nd user, as the devices they were designed for are now nearly all wireless anyway.

Wow! This device is available in Chile, too. A little bit expensive, but I'll earn money for this. Ethernet Brigde, your days are counted. Thanks for your idea, +bertyboy.

You could also try one of these: cheap with free world wide shipping. been planning to get some of these to try with xbox's, they should work with your ibook just fine
