Hi all, does anyone have the restore disks for the 400/500mhz Powerbook G3 Pismos? Its a very popular model for enthusiasts and i think quite a few people have them here, it could be a valued addition.

I have a used Pismo that came without its original discs. I used a full retail installer for 9.2.1 to set it up, and an updater to 9.2.2. They're available in 3 StuffIt segments titled MacOS_9_2_2: http://www.mediafire.com/?3vkhbsaejmrtu
MacTracker says, its original OS is 9.0.2, its maximum is 10.4, and yes,
a retail full installer from minimum to maximum requirements always works.
Yea i have a 9.0.4 retail disk that installed fine on it, the 9.2.1 on the other end of the link however hasn't been recognised as a startup disk, the content is there and i can run disk utility off it but it wont boot

The 9.2.1 disk doesn't boot probably because the image is not untouched. Never mount an image if you want to burn a bootable CD from it!!!
burned straight from the toast file with toast without any mounting. Still wont recognise regardless.

Which means that the image has been mounted before you downloaded it. I believe this 9.2.1 toast image originates in an iso image which was on the ftp server of MacDomain. However, I do not know whether the MacDomain iso image was untouched. I have this iso image but, unfortunately, mounted it. After this the ftp server of Macdomain went down - and still is down. Anyway, there is an Mac OS 9.2.2 eMac download by Bolkonskij on MacGarden (http://www.macintoshgarden.org/apps/macos-922-boot-cd-emac-g4-100-compat...) which should work on the Prismo.
