I bought a copy of 2.5 on ebay about a year ago. I installed it and fussed with it for a few hours.

It seemed stable but after using it and ignoring it for a couple of months the next time I tried to use t I had to re-install it. The product has a massive copy-protection scheme / registration process. It also requires original CDs (3 of them) to get the installer to work.

And the BBS sponsored by Propellerheads is occupied by a bunch of people who labeled me a pirate because Propellerheads wouldn't let me register the product.

With all of the DAW software around, I decided this one wasn't worth the trouble to learn.

i have the refill cd images from 2.5 - cd 2 + cd 3 but am missing cd1 which contains the program disc for mac....... i think this cd was a hybrid cd that displayed differently on mac os x and differently on os 9. and again differently on windows...... so the cd was 1 cd. but was different depending on which computer os it was inserted into..

I've uploaded the discs for Reason 1.0. If anyone can add the 1.0.1 update that would be great.
