DiskDoubler 1.x (I have 1.
DiskDoubler 2.x
DiskDoubler 3.2-3.7.1 (I have 3.0, 3.1, and 3.7.2 to 3.7.7.)
AutoDoubler 1.x (I have 2.x)
Now Compress (I have the Now Utilities version)
If you're wondering why I'm asking, this is to generate test cases in order to add support for more formats to The Unarchiver.

Disk Doubler 3.7.2 here, not original media, but the installer.
It's on an old, old dump of Mac software I downloaded many years ago that I've never looked at. Finally got off my ass and (locked and) mounted it tonight with an aim to indexing it, burning it to DVDs and working through it to see what we could use here. 6GB of just apps. The full version of Claris HomePage v3 looks like it's in there too.
I have 3.7.2 and 3.7.7, in img format. 3.7.0 or 3.7.1, as well as older versions, would be useful.

hmm, I know I have DiskDoubler SOMEWHERE, but uh, it's probably on floppies at my parents' house. Next time I'm over I can see if my dad still has the box of floppies. It should also be on my magneto-optical disks but it'll be a while before I get the chance to grab all my data off those.

I actually have that one.
For Apple's disk imaging software, we seem to have it well covered. ShrinkWrap is taken care of too -- only ShrinkWrap 3.x uses the weird "StuffIt" format.

Yes. Tho' ShrinkWrap 2.1 will use the Stuffit Engine for compression if its installed. Perhaps a reason why Aladdin bought the rights to it?

Most of these create archives in common formats. The ones we're looking for are those that use nonstandard or proprietary formats. Currently, this is mainly DiskDoubler and AutoDoubler, but others are good too. Was there ever a Norton archive format which was not DiskDoubler or SuperDoubler?

Yes, definitily. Made a huge archive on several floppies of my recent work before I left for another job. A few weeks later I got a phone call from my successor wonder what the … I had left for him. Had also almost forgot about the archive but we sorted it out at last and that was in Norton's archive format.

Included as part of Norton Utilities v2 (available from this site). It is fantastically excellent backup software for Classic Mac OS.
In Mac OSX Retrospect is top dog for backups, and it works nearly all the time. But when you come to try to restore from backup (which is the whole point of backup software, 15 year old Norton Backup is still leagues ahead of even the latest EMC Retrospect.
No, not Norton Backup, rather archiving software. I think I've seen it.
Strangely, no-one has mentioned Diamond.
I have Diamond 5.0 backed up somewhere.

Spotted an archiver I've not seen before called "DiskMaker 1.3", located in the folder "Copy Center" on the CD-ROM image T.S.I. source-owner's-guide-10-1990. A recent Garden addition.
