Here's another game I can't get to work. I realize that none of these I've posted have worked, but... This one runs, but when I try to start a new game it quits. It did actually start once though, but then the graphics were messed up.
Help..?

i've experienced the same or similar problem. the game installs and starts ok, menu screens look good but on the first mission the graphics are @$$. kind of visual garbage like snow on a tv screen that pretty much but doesn't totally obscure the view. i've installed on 3 ibook g3s and a g4/500 with a 32 mb video card, all with the same result. funny thing is i once installed and play tested it perfectly on a 7500 with a g3 upgrade card. go figure

Maybe it only runs on older computers. Have you always had this problem?

I've got a demo of this I wanted to upload awhile ago but I haven't been able to get it to run on ANYTHING. I've never seen anything like that. I've even got the original CD the demo is included on.
Apparently this was meant to be published by the original MacPlay, but got switched to some other publisher when MacPlay went under. Maybe their standards weren't up to what MacPlay had been doing previously. I've never had a problem with any of their software.

@carl- i only tested it once on the 7500 immediately after i dled it from.. hell, it was so long ago, i can't remember. played and looked great but i just wasn't into it. put the game away and just got it out recently.

This game works quite well on my beige G3 with 9.22. But first I had to install the 1.2Beta Updater from http://www.pure-mac.com/actionclassic.html.
