Strange Educational Game from 90s

I'm trying to find this educational point and click adventure type game I played in 3rd or 4th grade (~1995). All I can remember was that it had some bizarre characters, and at the time I wasn't quite sure how exactly it was educational (I don't really remember any puzzle elements: I think it was just an animated cartoon world to explore). I do remember that there was a scene with a moth flying around a light bulb and the characters were commenting on the tragic fate of the moth xD I remember it having some very well drawn character animations though. I'm pretty sure this was on a Macintosh LC.

Some other games I just rediscovered thanks to browsing this site were Castle Explorer, MDK, and Star Wars Droid Works, but those all came several years after this mystery game...

Is it Elroy Goes Bugzerk?

Check 6:21 on the video.

They talk about the moth as it circles a candle.

I love this game and it's sequel "Elroy hits the pavement". I played it all the time when I was a kid.

There may have been a third game released--there was a demo CD for all the company's products from the mid-1990s, with a playable demo of Elroy Goes Bugzerk and a video of Hits the Pavement. The demo wasn't much--a long intro scene, followed by a cave maze and a few easy questions a 5th grader could answer. The "third game" comes from reading an edutainment catalog in the late 1990s (say 1997), but I forgot the name of it. May or may not have been Mac compatible.

The 3rd game in the series was called Elroy's Costume Closet: http://www.amazon.com/Elroys-Costume-Closet/dp/B000AQ7JJ4

It was a game where Elroy and his friend sid would try on costumes on stage and make up a short type of play.

I remember only playing a demo of it somewhere ages ago for my old performa macintosh.
