Thread title was a strategy that came to mind last night, it was reasonably fun, remember it being on a Macformat
The only mention of it's existence i've been able to find on that net is a download that may or may not be it, but its surrounded by other mac stuff. Weather its obtainable is another question, this fpt thing is a little beyond me. Anyone able to aid in any way?

Maybe the server itself is down. There is a timeout error from http://ftp.anu.edu.au/mnt/disk3/info-mac.0.0.html. Did you try the waybackmachine already?
does the wayback machine store files.
I would hazard a guess that the server probably went offline years ago but it would have been neat to salvage something

The WayBack machine stores files up to about 3MB, but only those linked to by the http protocol, ie. if the HTML page had a link to ftp://www.xxx.com/blah you'd be out of luck.
ah, thanks for that, i'll give it a try as soon as i can. As far as i remember, the version on the Macformat wasn't entirely complete in its development, and most definitely un-registered.
May give some clues tho in finding an evolution of it, cant actually remember if it was any good, its been that long since i played it ^_^
