Yeah Matlab would be a nice addition to this site.
It seems that Matlab version 4.2 was for Mac OS 7 (68k and PPC).
Version 5.x running under Mac OS 8 and 9 (5.2.1 is reported to be runnable under Mac OS 9.1).
Version 6.x may be last version runnable under Mac OS 9 (carbonized ?).
I don't know if it was ever ported to Mac OS 6 and earlier.
