Hey Everyone,
Like everyone here, I feel that vintage software should be preserved, like any important historical artifact. I've been lucky to have found many of the applications I've wanted. However, there is one thing I have yet to find, even after scouring every corner of the internet for over 5 years. It's a screen saver many here are familiar with called "UnderWare" by a company called BitJugglers. Several years ago another user here (pagan) was kind enough to share UnderWare 1.0, which satisfied me for a little while (you can read the thread here: http://macintoshgarden.org/forum/request-underware-screensaver). But, as noted in that thread, we've yet to find a copy of UnderWare version 2.0 FULL (registered). It was never incredibly popular (unlike AfterDark, my favorite), but it was known enough that several others here remember it.
So, I'm posting this request again and this time I'm adding an incentive: a CASH REWARD / BOUNTY! I assume UnderWare couldn't have cost more than $20 originally, so I'm offering 5 times that:
$100 US dollars -- paid via PayPal or Money Order, whichever you prefer. Half up front, half on delivery.
A hard copy, box, etc would be INCREDIBLE, but is NOT REQUIRED -- I will happily take a software only copy (as long as I can get a serial number, which I MAY already have). If you do have a hard copy, I will pay for shipping from anywhere in the world in addition to the reward.
The MOMENT I get it I will post it here for everyone. The only exception would be if the person who sells it to me asks that I not share it for some reason, which I would respect.
If you don't want the money yourself, I will donate the it to Macintosh Garden to help cover server costs (I wish I could donate more, but I'm just a web software developer and am not made of money, even though this post may make it seem I am).
Screen savers are my favorite "old-world" computing memory. I never had UnderWare when it was new (didn't know of it), but some of my fondest computer memories are of AfterDark. The reason I love screen savers is because they were so whimsical, unique, witty and cool. They were simple yet so cool and interesting. Like many things with computers, they were an incredible creative outlet, and are, also like so many other things (eg great games), a lost and unappreciated art in today. To me, they the Sistine Chapel of the modern world. In terms of appeal, I would liken UnderWare and others to the old Maxis "Sim" games like SimTower, SimFarm, etc. They existed when making a flashy, seemingly "impressive" 3D rendering, etc wasn't an option. To make something great required skill -- you had to concentrate on the subject matter, creativity, playability and depth. You had to find ways to do more with the limited computer resources you had. Nowadays authors can just hide behind 3D graphics to obfuscate the fact that they're just recreating the same old tired, shallow ideas -- they aim for the common "technical proficiency" checklists reviewed in today's world. That's why I gave up on new video games years ago.
The reason I'm so hung up on UnderWare specifically is because it was such so unique, mostly because it allowed you use a screen saver as your desktop background. Also many of the modules interact with icons and other elements on your desktop (icons grow legs, etc).
I hope you all can help me end this infinite quest.
By the way, I am also looking for any AfterDark modules (Mac or PC) (esp. 3rd party). Unfortunately I lost many of my modules before I started collecting software. If anymore has any AfterDark modules (Mac / PC) I'd be very interested.
Thanks for your time everyone.

If you feel that this file is a must and can't wait any longer i can upload it but i ask in return help with screenshots, i only have black and white macs right now, i am fixing the power supply from my IIsi, my powermac 7500 is a mess, i have lots of color duos but it's a real pain in the a** to transfer files to those macs and i don't want to fiddle with emulation right now. Or uploading it as secondary file in the current underware page, but some editing and additions must be done there.
