Upload trouble - Macintosh Garden

I'm trying to upload a PDF file and a JPEG file for Might and Magic 1. I go to edit the page, click "Add another item," browse for the file, and click "Upload." Next thing I know, this appears on the edit page:

I tried previewing the page, and it's as if I made no changes at all. What am I missing?

Wrong browser. Please don't use Chrome or Safari, because they don't work.
Use Firefox instead, like me.

Ah, that worked. Thanks for the tip. Ironic that the default browser for Macs doesn't work here.

FF may have worked at one time but it doesn't work any more. Here's a screen of the error message I get after three seperate failed attempts trying to upload an image using FF:

Well FF isn't working for me! Using the latest version, every time I try to upload an image, manual, and last night a game, I get that error message (HTTP error). It appears the only thing I can actually modify or create for this site is plain TEXT.

FF has been updated a lot in the meanwhile, maybe some new issues fights FF no longer to be compatible with this site.

But others have been able to add screenshots to their uploads. So either they are using an older version of FF (I agree the updates could be screwing with the site) or I don't have permission to upload screens/manuals/software.

I really wish the Admin here would please let me know what is going on. I can accept the reality, I just hate being left in the dark guessing. I've received no reply from my inquires.

There will be an increased lead time on uploads for the next week or two (or maybe a bit more). The files have to be moved to a different server, and everything needs to be updated.
