Hi!
Since Waves recently dropped support for Waves 4.0 I think it's time to put up a working copy of it on the site. The version of Waves 4.0 currently found on the site is the OSX version.
It complains about needing Mac OS X 10.2 or later when starting the installer and the plugins simply wont load on their own (tried with Pro Tools TDM 5.1.3cs11).
Does anyone have it? It would be greatly appriciated 
Wave v3 and v5 are also officially abandonware since January 2014: Link.
Feel free to add them to Macintosh Garden site, too !
I have Waves 3.0 Gold and will be uploading it shortly. Waves 5 is OSX-only, so I don't think it's appropriate to upload it here. It can allready be found pretty easy at torrent sites.
As an interesting side note, I seemed to have an allmost complete version of Waves 4.0 for Mac OS 9 on one of my harddrives. Sadly the file "WavesLib 4.0_9" is missing, so it wont work. Tried to take the file from the OSX archive and just renaming it (I thought it might work, since it's carbon), but it didn't work.
So the seach continues

But why not also add Wave 5 ? If it runs under Mac OS X ≤ 10.4, it is OK to be uploaded.
I just don't feel like it belongs here. It runs on Panther and upwards, up until Leopard.
If you want to add it, be my guest. I just don't want to do it
