Word verification

This has gotten out of hand! Every time I post on a topic or edit anything, even if it has no URLs in there (real or embedded), I have to type in word verification! I'm a registered user, have been for over a year, and yet the system treats me with suspicion. What's up with that?

CaPtChA's gone crazy?

It used to bug me... but I'm thinking it maybe gets turned up a notch when spammers have been active? Anyhoo, it doesn't bother me too much now... must be getting used to it Wink

Does anybody remember my past complaints about this SAME issue?

@Euryale: Yours and others. Just typing "captcha" into the Search field finds a few.

Recently its been all posts (except uploading) triggering it. I think it has to be a anti-spammer measure thats been "tightened" recently.

Its OK by me tho'... I find its at times amusing, deciphering the captcha Wink

Maybe I should´ve been more specific,
the problem with me is not the captcha typing, which I´m used to do everywhere else since I download lots of movies,

the problem is that only in here in MacGarden when I type in the captchas, they are NOT recognized
even if I try all combinations Lower/upper caps, etc...
and most of times I´ve ended up using the audio,

BTW I use Google Chrome WinXP

Oh, I see. Yes that would be really aggravating. - I don't get that problem so far, "touch wood".

Using SeaMonkey to post, on WinXP & OS X.
