The 'Hockey-puck'-version?
Have you tried / heard of eBay ?
I might give one away for the shipping fee. It is a spare one from my iMac bondi blue, but it is living in a drawer at my place in Germany...
I am preferring a Logitech animal in the first place, like others with 3button/wheel.
I just saw: 1 USD is equivalent to 6.65560 SEK (Sweden Kronor)
I have one I'm about to put on eBay for £0.99. Graphite, rather than Bondi Blue.
Any particular reason why you want an "Apple" USB Mouse for your iMac G3? I ask because I've been using a very basic and inexpensive Microsoft "Wheel Mouse Optical USB" mouse, since my beige G3 (with USB card) and every Mac I've owned with native buit-in USB, afterwards. It has Left and Right mouse buttons plus the tracking wheel for scrolling. Very basic and works great on Classic Macs since Mac OS 8.5.1
I don't know the value of a SEK, but you should be able to get one of these on eBay or similar for US$15 or less.
I have the Mac OS 8 - 9 drivers for it (all available languages), if they are no longer available from Microsoft.
Got to agree withMikeTomTom, that exact model is mouse is the one I bought 12 years ago to use on my old iMac G3 (since sold). It was light, accurate and a dream to use. It's been on an MDD, three PowerBooks since and is now used on my new Mac Pro. The Microsoft logo is wearing off the top, but it's still used every day, including by my young children for years - who have managed to ding the Mac Pro case, but the mouse must be unbreakable.
I also have almost every version of the Mac drivers for Microsoft mice. It's usually a single download and you then select which mouse you actually have - an image of the mouse comes up so you know you've got the right one, very reassuring.

Perhaps the single most hardware item Microsoft ever got right

All the Microsoft USB mice have been excellent. Also got a couple of the blue wireless optical mice, I think the first one was called Wireless Optical Mouse Blue, the second was Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 - it "worked" in OS9 as well, but had too many phantom clicks, works perfectly in OS X tho.
I've had a few Logitech USB mice too, but they've all died, break in the cable just above where it enters the mouse.
