A fast action vertical shooter. Immediate decendant of STORM (the Mac port of Tempest) and a precursor to MacAttack.
Excellent arcade-style Tempest clone. The sound and graphics are perfect. If you're a fan of Mac Arcade games this is a must download! - Supercletus
CompatibilityThis game can be thought of as an interpretation of 'Tempest 2000' on the Atari Jaguar. Its fast, colorful (if the old Star Wars wire frame 'colorful' is your thing, which it is mine), and well worth the couple of minutes to download. I'm playing this on a G3 iBook running MacOS9.1 and it runs just fine. Try it, you might like it. - One Brain Cell
Includes scripts, notes, manual and predecessor STORM

This is a very good port of Tempset (1980). There is a cool practice mode that lets you play all of the levels. I've been playing it on Mac OS 9 all the time since 2012.
This is actually more "playable" and better animated that the original arcade game!
This is one of the finest games ever released for the earlier colour Macs. The sound is superb, and the gameplay is perfect for the mouse. The fact that I was a huge Tempest fan has nothing to do with it
"Arashi" is actually Japanese for "Storm".
