"Full Throttle is a third-person puzzle-solving adventure game. The graphics are cartoon-style, similarly to LucasArts' previous adventure games Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max Hit The Road. The game features a revamped interface: instead of choosing a command verb or an action icon and then interacting with an object, the player can now simply point at it, and the available action icons will appear automatically. These include the standard 'use', 'examine', and 'speak' actions, but also a separate foot icon for kicking."

"As in other LucasArts adventure games, branching dialogues are used liberally to advance the plot. The game also includes a few simple action driving sequences, during which the player is required to navigate a motorcycle and fight hostile bikers by punching and kicking them, as well as using crude weapons such as chains and planks." --MobyGames.com

Full Throttle may not be a "pure" adventure with its arcade elements and timed sequences but it is fun to play - and that's what really matters most. The age of this game shows a bit (especially in the graphics department) but even so, Full Throttle remains a game worth playing. - From The JAVE

Full Throttle is a pavement-peeling adventure about the leader of a motorcycle gang who is framed for murder. The title represents LucasArts' first all-digital, fully interactive soundtrack and features a multichannel soundtrack, an ear-rattling rock and roll score and original sound effects. Together, these elements create a complete sonic environment that brings the action-packed adventure to life. Macintosh Multimedia & Product Registry Volume 9, No.4 - 1996

Or this

Better than Toast, which would be like shooting birds with cannons.

and if it could be a img that mounts on mac os 7 or 8 would be great

You would need Toast or Disk Copy 6.5 to mount it. In Toast format, it could be simply added to the emulator's drives list, so please keep .cdr format.

You need to burn the game on a cd first. If you don't have it, get toast from this site. Insert a blank CD-R and Toast should open. Now import the .img file and burn the disc... should work fine Smile

It doesn't run on my imac g3. Not even on my powermac 7500/100. I mount the .img file and when i try to run the game it says that it cannot find the cd
