This sequel was better than the original. Gameplay was awesome. The storyline was great as well. Durandal is my favorite god-complex-computer-program ever! I wish he would have made at least a cameo in the Halo series.

I played this game so much that I could finish the first two levels using only the fists when in hard level Smile (Yes I know, some people managed to finish the game this way ... but still Wink).

For those interested, I still take the time to play this game now and then, and would ove a old-school net play Tongue

I can play this again after YEARS of searching. Thanks mucho.

Really Tongue ? You shoud have searched "Marathon 2" with google : the first available link is an article on wikipedia which itself links to Bungie's web site where the game is now freely availble Laughing out loud : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marathon_2:_Durandal. The third link of the same google request is Bungie's site itself...

As a side note, I loved the box that came with this game but its original triangle shape made it quite week, and I finally managed to damage it up to the point I had to trash it Sad ... too bad !

Actually better than the contemporary DOOM series, with more intricate mapping and more scenery interaction, as well as better control of your character (being able to look up and down and sided to side without turning, and actually being able to SWIM in water).

Probably the best of the pre-3d FPS games and engines.
