Basilisk likes to crash when you quit DiscPassage application, but works fine otherwise.
To get the CD-ROM recognized by DiscPassage, you may need to write-protect it, either in your host operating system or within the emulated Mac OS system.
Comments
While checking the options to create an image of this CD-ROM, I also checked Disk Copy option.
But if stored as a Disk Copy 6.3 image, the warning msg, which told you, this CD-ROM is not replacing your personal family doctor ("DISCLAIM.TXT" in the root dir of the CD), displays an empty msg box.
Also, storing this CD on Disk Copy image would throw away the DOS compatibility of this CD-ROM.
If someone happens to meet older/newer versions of 'The Family Doctor', please upload these, too.
Known versions are the first edition, obviously, but 3rd edition may include a newer version of DiscPassage, which would be very appreciated to be uploaded to the DiscPassage page.
I'm not sure about 4th edition, whether it includes a Mac version of DiscPassage, or not.
Works fine with System 6 up to 9.2, including Classic Environment, but
Mini vMac may require a separate CD driver software installed, if you plan to mount .cdr images like this one within System 6 or 7.
Mac OS 7.5, installed within Mini vMac, mounts CD-ROMs fine w/o the need of separate CD driver software.
