Hello new to this site, looks great. how do I download these programs. Tried illustrator and it sent me to another site to create an account. Is this how it works.

Which one is the file in question and what kind of OS do you use for downloading?
The MG internal server only allows DL up to 40MB, thats why many users choose an external DL server for bigger files. Such ext. server may require some action because of link decryption.
An account on such servers should not be necessary.
Many external links are broken unfortunately.
