The Macintosh System version 7 (codenamed "Big Bang" and sometimes called Mac OS 7) is a single-user graphical user interface-based operating system for Macintosh computers. It was introduced on May 13, 1991 by Apple Computer. It succeeded System 6, and was the main Macintosh operating system until it was succeeded by Mac OS 8 in 1997. Features added with the Mac OS 7 release included cooperative multitasking, virtual memory, personal file sharing, an improved user interface, QuickTime, and QuickDraw 3D.

With the release of version 7.6 in 1997, Apple officially renamed the operating system "Mac OS", a name which had first appeared on Mac OS 7.5.1's boot screen. Mac OS 7 was developed for the Motorola 68k processor, but was ported to the PowerPC after Apple adopted the new processor.

Mac OS 7.5.3, a major bug-fix update that also included Open Transport for other PowerPC-based machines as well as some 68k-based machines. 7.5.3 also made several improvements to the 68k emulator, and added translucent dragging support to the Drag Manager. It was also the first version of Control Strip for all Macs. This was also the first version of Mac OS to support SMP. (9500/MP)

Mac OS 7.5.3 Revision 2 included: performance enhancements; better reliability for PowerBooks using the third-party RAM Doubler program; improved reliability for PowerBook 500, 2300, and 5300 series computers with the PowerPC Upgrade Card; improved reliability when using the Startup Disk control panel; and improved reliability when copying files to 1 GB hard disks.

Mac OS 7.5 Version 7.5.3

This is Mac OS 7.5 Version 7.5.3. It contains some several fixes from previous System releases and many improvements. It just like a compilation of Mac OS 7.5 Update 1.0, Mac OS 7.5 Update 2.0, and Mac OS 7.5.3 Revision 2.
The first download above is the floppy version in 1.4MB HFS image which can be mounted on the emulator or be written to a high-density Macintosh floppy disk on any computer with a variable-speed floppy drive. The second download is the CD-ROM version which include optional features. The sixth download is the worldwide set of Mac OS 7.5.3.

While the original 7.5.3 above did not work in these models such as Workgroup Server 7250/120 and 8550/132, PowerBook 1400, Power Macintosh 4400/200, Power Macintosh 5400/120 & 5400/180, and Power Macintosh 9500/180MP & 9500/200, it contains the special specific software components and features. The fifth download is a built CD image containing disk images for these models.

Mac OS 7.5.3 Revision 2

This is the update for PowerBook 5300, PowerBook Duo 2300, PowerBooks with Connectix RAM Doubler, PowerBook 200 or 500 models with PowerPC upgrade, Power Macintosh 7200, 7500, 7600, 8500 and 9500 systems. It fixes some bugs for the users running these computers above.

Power Macintosh 5260/100 installation CD

The 5260 introduced on April 15, 1996, replaced the 6200's PowerPC 603 CPU with the newer and faster PowerPC 603e, though the rest of the architecture remained unchanged. The Power Macintosh 5400 with a new revised architecture was introduced shortly after, but the 5260 remained available at a lower price.

Power Macintosh 4400 Series installation CD-ROM

The Power Macintosh 4400 (also known as the Power Macintosh 7220 in some markets) was a mid-to-high-end Macintosh personal computer designed, manufactured and sold by Apple Computer from 1996 until 1998. The Power Macintosh 4400 was rather different from most other Macintosh models, in that the floppy disk drive is on the left rather than right, and like the Centris 650, the casing is made of metal rather than plastic. Apple did this to reduce production costs, in addition to using more industry standard components such as IDE and ATX power supply.

The Apple Macintosh WGS 7250/120, based on the Catalyst architecture, features a 120 MHz PowerPC 601 processor, 16 MB of RAM, a 1.2 GB or 2.0 GB hard drive, and a 4X or 8X CD-ROM drive in the well-designed, easy-to-upgrade desktop case design first introduced by the Power Macintosh 7500/100. It shipped with pre-installed server software, as well.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

QuickDraw 3D only works for PPC. Apple Telecom is only for PowerBook, Power Macintosh, Quadra AV, or Performa, and not compatible for SheepShaver.
For 5260 series restore, The System file has been intended to run on the Performa 5260 only. It was not compatible in other models or all emulators. If so, you must update them by using Mac OS 7.5 Update 2.0 or Mac OS 7.5.5 Update. For Basilisk II and vMac users, please update them to Mac OS 7.5.5.

Try to this issue, deleted Mac OS 7.5.3 in floppies. Please download this, and it's working.
