Another helpless who can't find her old games

So you are all going to hate me because the details I remember are very vague.

I need help finding an old Macintosh game. It could have come out anywhere between the late 80's to the late 90's.
It was a first player maze simulation with mostly black and white graphics, as I recall. I remember the actual game took place in this large house or mansion. I remember there was a garden and a room with a tile floor, and a skinny hallway. So obviously this maze didn't have blank walls like Scarab of Ra. The graphics looked more like a game called "Number Maze," but I don't believe that it had any math component to it. There was some sort of puzzle, however. You weren't just trying to find you're way out. I think the thing was mostly point-and-click, but I can't be sure.

And that's all I have! I'd love it if you'd help me~

This sounds a lot like "Uninvited" -- which I believe is on this wonderful site Smile

This and Mouse Stampede were my two most played games on the old 512k Mac.

I actually emailed my mother and she found it for me. I've been playing it for probably too long now.
It's called "Maze" or "riddle of the maze." It's based directly off of a book by Christopher Manson.
Here are some links for anyone who's curious.

Thanks for your help, though macmeister! I really appreciate it. Laughing out loud

So, this one: MacGarden/Riddle of the Maze
I saw it's not on the internal server yet, so I'm downloading it now to put it on-line.
