Ok heres where im coming from;)
i have these midi usb cables.. they work great in osx + xp... no driver required...
they are basically a generic version.. there are brand name versions of pretty much the exact same product.. by m-audio + roland + a few other companies.
the only difference is the vendor ids provided to the os.. Im wondering if it would be possible to somehow edit the vendor id in a copy of the driver so that it picks it up and makes it available?
Is it posible to decompile + edit + recompile a small driver file?
