Anyone interested in helping a newbie?

As the title suggests, I am completely new to this, so please forgive me if I sound a tad bit oblivious.

I am already running Mac OS 7.5.3 through Basilisk II; that was pretty easy following the guide on E-maculation. However, I am now stuck at trying to figure out how to mount and run games through Basilisk. I read the guide here on installing software, but I'm not entirely sure how to move the files to the emulated hard drive. I just finished downloading a game in an .sit format and went ahead and installed Stuffit Expander, but I decided to stop there. Again, I apologize for being so out of tune! I think I was able to get Basilisk II because of the explicit instructions, so now I just need the same for installing/running a game! I truly appreciate the assistance!

Edit: Wow, I am an idiot. I've figured it out now...sorry, everyone!

For other peoples in your situation, please write down how you figured it out, please.

Even as long-time Mac user, emulating classic Mac OS with Bas and/or Sheep
was also new to me when I started to use these applications.

I'm hoping I can explain this with my limited knowledge

I extracted the .sit file through Stuffit Expander to a folder on my own OS. I then placed the resulting .img file into the shared folder between my hard drive and the emulated hard drive I created when setting up Basilisk. Then, I opened the Basilisk GUI and added the .img file to the list on the Volumes tab. When I then started Basilisk the icon for the game was on the desktop of the emulator; when I clicked it, the game started up and is running perfect!

I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for explanation, nice that it works this way.
Mostly, if an .img file is touched by host OS, it will became unusable,
so it's recommended to copy it from the Unix drive letter onto the emulated hard disk drive (within Basilisk) and to mount it from inside, by using Disk Copy 6.3 (an application by Apple, Inc.) , which needs to be installed separately.
