Basilisk II CDs unrecognized

I downloaded the Return to Zork img from here to prove to myself that the Mac version is better than the crappy DOS version I played a couple weeks ago. But it still asked for the CD when I had the image mounted. So I went to my parents and dug out my actual Mac version CD that I have and tried it in Basilisk, but it says the CD isn't recognized. There's no scratches on the CD, so I tried some Windows/Mac hybrid CDs I have (like Diablo), but they all say the same thing. The system says the CD is unrecognized and to initialize or eject. It recognizes audio CDs though.

I'm using Vista 32-bit with both the last non-JIT Basilisk II, and 0.9 JIT (1.0 never works for me). I tried Sheepshaver too but same problem. I have Mac OS 7.5.5 installed. I updated my Apple CD-ROM extension to v5.4, but it didn't help.

On a Mac I don't have any such issues with real CD's. I also don't have any issues with mounted disk images (made with Toast and mount the locked image file on Mac) showing up as the CD in Basilisk.

Do you have a similar app for Vista 32 ? Could be an issue accessing the CD drive in Vista, so a virtual disk may be more successful.

I finally got it to work. I think running in Administrator mode was the key. It still sometimes doesn't recognize the CD, but starting the emulator up with the CD in seems to help. And one time, it showed the CD as an audio cd with a single track on it. But I can get it to work at least now.
