I think it might be a valuable resource if moderators / admins had a means via the website to communicate "behind the scenes" with one another via an e -mail or messaging system via a drupal add on. If I see a comment that one of the moderators makes - I can't address that person directly - I think it would be a good site feature - which we could also (possibly) extend to all registered users.
