Emulator only sometimes works

anyone remember the game crystal crazy? i've been looking for how to play this game on windows and i was told by a friend that this site might know about it

i'm not looking for crystal quest, but crystal crazy. i've been looking ever since my elementary school had it 7 years ago

ETA: i got the emulator installed but it only sometimes works. most of the time, it opens to a black screen, and beeps once. then i have to end the process.

the old basilik doesn't work either, it just opens to a black screen ,makes the mac start up sound, and has a bunch of weird gray horizontal lines
can anyone help?

Someone vandalized the first posting of this thread.
The original asked for getting Crystal Crazy downloaded anywhere.

Now, it asks for getting the emulator to work.
The answer is: You would need an operating system between the emulator and Crystal Crazy.
You get the flashing Question Mark symbol, get you?

IIGS: yes i changed the topic because i had not looked for crystal crazy. however, i left the original question and put an ETA (edit to add) with the new question because i didnt want to make another post

the problem is not that the emulator doesnt work at all, it works sometimes and other times i get the black screen. not sure why it does and maybe someone can help

You can try the second link. Just drop in that executable, overwriting the one you already have.

nope doesnt work. i get the "dong" start up sound but a weird gray screen

aand with the newer one i get the "beep" and the black screen

You tried the 2008 executable, right? Using the 2001 one at any point would mess up your config file. If you have experimented with the 2001 version, do make sure to delete your prefs and try again.

You might also want to try a different ROM image. Which one are you using now?
