donate your vintage apple stuff from stickers to mouse pads i mean everything

HELLO.

This would be wonderful if I as a younger generation '25 years old, would love to collect these really neat apple classics. I remember as a young man with my grandfather how just the rainbow symbol itself caught my eye. I was raised by my grandfather and hold apple true to me. Macintosh changed my life as well as others. But funny thing is I still remember my grandfather sitting there on the macintosh with a cigaret in one hand a cup of yuban coffee and that macintosh that will never let me forget my grandfather till this day. Wow never realized this would be a combination that would ever link my grandfather as a memory and apple. Sounds like a story huh ? any how I am searching for what you wanna throw or donate to me.

Thanks alot guys will post all items sent. and a thank you's. hoping to be a forever lasting collection .

Al ver este post lo primero que pasó por mi mente fueron las inolvidables palabras de nuestro ex-presidente Fox: Y yo por qué?

My first thought seeing this post in the list is spam.

don't expect to get a lot mate, old apple stuff can go for quite a lot now, and the stuff you can pickup cheap often needs a lot of work to get them back to working order.

Your best bet is just to watch ebay and see if something comes up cheap

eBay is your answer, you'll need plenty of money.

Many of us here have spent a fortune and many years of our lives collecting stuff, none of which I'm ready to give away, unless someone describes a situation where they need spares.

Yep, many of our ancestors had a hard live.
My grandfather was killed by the Nazi regime like many others here in Germany.
My father somehow managed to join the Royal Navy at age 20 as allied enemy and did his duty on Hunt Class ships, got torpedoed too.

But back to topic:
It cant harm to ask, but you should also see the point that some here are a bit reluctant to give away things to unknown members. Ridiculous prices are being asked for anything with a old school Apple logo on it.

thank you guys. yes Im the guy thats also trying to revive a older Macintosh se I bought from this lady in roseville as well just the other day. I was like I got a gift from my grandfather.the lady saved it for me when i contacted her about her ad and she then gave me not only the Macintosh but also the box manuels the original dust covers "yes the computer dust cover and the keyboard dust cover." i got the keyboard and mouse but not the cord for the keyboard to plug into the macintosh se. and now im hoping from me trying to put in a floppy of the first mac paint i am also concerned because my floppy drives out that i didnt mess it up also just by inserting it and it just wanting to initialize the floppy but i dont i just eject.

You are old enough to still remember the Apple "golden days" (or the days of doom, depending on how you want to look at it). You have SSW 7 (or even System 6!) nostalgia.

Old Mac stuff doesn't run especially cheap these days...but now that you have a Mac SE, Macintosh Garden has a vast collection of System 6 stuff that would've cost a fortune back in the day.

Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' by 'SSW 7' - IIGS User

System 6 -- wow!

I remember having to source System 6.08 startup disks so my brother could repair his ANCIENT Mac Classic. Luckily, Apple still had a working FTP site back then...

I started with Macintosh Classic (not 'Environment') with Mac OS 7.0, back around in 1992.
