I can edit everyone's forum posts, but I can't seem to edit any posts (including my own) that START a discussion thread.
Is it possible? I make a lot of mistakes, you see.

@Macwise: Someone with admin privileges can do that. He's not a super-admin like me though 
... what we use that privilege for is to correct broken URLs and bad HTML in people's posts (and of course, clean up spam).
