I want to reexperience some old mac games. There is a problem though, I don't remember the names of a couple of them. If I describe them, someone might recognize what I'm looking for.
These games were in B&W and I played them on an SE-30 in the early 90's.
The first one was a space shooting game, but you flew over an arciform planet surface, seemingly never-ending, shooting at approaching targets and eventually reaching a big boss of some sort. After completing one planet you moved on to anoter with different design. I think you had the view from the ship's cockpit and could possibly move sideways and tilt the ship.
I also remember playing this game in color on some friend's computer, probably a PowerPC-processor.
The other game was much more static. You moved through rooms of an almost deserted hotel, writing short commands to move, e.g. "right", "left", "climb". I specifically remember you had to climb up on top of the elevator to find a rope, although I do not remember what the goal of the game was
I'm also looking fore some of the oldest mac games, but they were so simple that they are a bit too hard to describe. I will settle for these two for now.
I hope someone can help me!
cheers
Agnes
