HyperCard games/interactive stories?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a place that has an archive of old HyperCard games (and/or "non-games" like Kangaroo Court) anywhere? Or at least somewhere that has documented them?

They were a big part of the Mac, especially to me when I was growing up, but it seems so hard to find a decent resource today.

There are archives of HyperCard stacks here and there, but they're all really bare-bones and not easy to browse.

There are FTP archives of Hypercard stacks here and here.

Archive.org hosts a CD-ROM archive of Educorp's shareware catalogue here and here. Takes a while to download it all and the organization is a bit of a mess, but I've found some old sentimental favorites I thought I'd never see again in there.

Happy digging!

I have a couple printed Educorp (I swear it was Educomp at one time?) catalogs, if they're of any interest. Would take some time to get them scanned though.

Some already have been archived at Macintosh Garden,
but the following form doesn't cover HyperCard-based Applications
which are also hosted at this very place:

If there are any specific stacks you can't find, we can try to dig them up for you.

Look around the Mac Garden while you're searching. What's here? While games like "Myst" and "The Complete MAUS" leap to mind. seek out those stacks made by Amanda Goodenough such as "Inigo takes a bath" etc, plus those earlier efforts by the Ryan brothers, "Cosmic Osmo" and "The Manhole". There's much more too, if you dig around.

Try this link. I downloaded a number of these in the last couple days and they work fine so far. Speed of games is OK on my 75mhz Performa. A little crazy in my Emulation on my MacBook Pro.

FYI...I'm going to upload each here as I verify them.
