I recently purchased a Digidesign original Mbox and I need a CD image of Pro Tools LE 5.1.2 to use with my OS9 installation.
Any owner of an Mbox should have this CD within the original box!!!
Would really appreciate it!

as far as i know you can get it for free from their archive. that is no secret. use google or if you cant find it i point you in the right direction. this is not a warez place. if you need the original cd look at ebay i saw about 4 or 5 of these cd's
The application forms in the Digidesign Archive downloads pages are down and the downloads offered are only updates for existing installations of Pro Tools LE 5.1.1....

there is a free version available with limited functionality i think 8 tracks of audio. i believe with the right piece of hardware you can open it up like pandoras box to the full version or sort of.
i found it they took it of its over with.
so ebay would be your best bet

pardon my ignorance but is there much difference between version Pro tools 5.0.1 LE and the version your describing? (5.0.1 LE being the version i have running on my os9/digi 001 machine that i bought for educational purposes!)
Did you finally get that version? - With my original MBOX came version 6.4...

i just tried to install FM7 to use with PT LE 5.01 And of course it doesnt work.. so now i have to join in on requesting/needing a copy of the 5.1+ cd.. I have a Powermac MDD/DIGI001 rig that i have purchased to learn the basics of pro tools... it came with a LE 5.01 cd/dvd and they gave me a code for 5.1 which confused the hell out of me trying to install 5.01 with a 5.1 code obviously didnt work heh.. but yes.. I need desperately 5.1 now to get started!!!!!!!!! is there any update to run that will update from 5.0 to 5.1? im guessing not.
