Remember playing this as a kid and cant seem to find the mac game anywhere,does anybody remember this game or have it ?

Don't think it was ever released for Mac. Unfortunately the timeframe covered by "as a kid" means nothing to anyone if we don't know your age.
On the up, perhaps you are referring to Zoo Tycoon, released arounf about 2003.

Zoo Keeper was released in 1994 by Davidson & Associates for both the Mac and PC,now I have seen the full PC version of this game on the website home of the underdogs,which is basically the same game as the mac version and yes I am very sure I played this game on a mac which was the only computer used in my school when I was in 5th grade which was in 1995.
