Mac gaming special in Retro Gamer #90

Just thought I'd throw out a heads up... there is a six page special on Mac gaming in issue #90 of Retro Gamer.

http://www.retrogamer.net/index.php

It's hidden between all the Zelda stuff.

Boo...the magazine is not PDF and only sold in UK. Can someone get scans?

I think this magazine shows up at Barnes & Noble on their magazine rack, at least in my city. In the States, that is. It costs a lot due to import.

If I was still in the UK I'd buy it and scan it. Can someone just spend the few pounds required, scan it and upload it ?

I checked Barnes & Noble, but they didn't have the latest issue. Maybe I should call them sometime.

Thanks for the article scan. I always used to be able to get Retro Gamer at Borders (although they were usually about a month late compared to the UK release) but now I've been cut off due to the whole bankrupcy and going out of business thing. Hopefully my local B&N will start carrying it (others seem to) but until then, at least I get to read this cool article.

I'm checking some of the titles listed in the article. "Bus'd Out" apparently refers to an early version of Maze Wars. But I'm seeing some others that I'm not aware of any Mac versions, like Wasteland or Karateka. Maybe he's remembering Apple II versions?

Nice! I went back to Barnes & Noble, but alas, I missed it. Sad

Thanks for the scans, Rezsnore! A very cool article. Hope they cover even more Mac ground in future issues.

He must be. There's no evidence that those or The Last Ninja were ever out for Mac. If only they had been...

Yeah, he acknowledged the errors on the forums. It was a mix-up while he was researching ports from Apple II and C64.

There was also an article on the Pippin recently:

Hey, that Pippin article was pretty cool, and there was a thing or two I learned that I didn't already know before.
